The School Library

The spacious school library is stocked with periodicals, newspapers and an impressive index of titles, covering both fiction and non-fiction. These have been selected for the informative and educational value, catering to all age groups. Children are encouraged to make full use of these facilities in order to foster a healthy reading habit and satiate the inquisitive mind. The library is managed by highly qualified library personnel. In addition, the library also features an integrated audio-visual suite with internet facility to complement the research activities.

Art & Craft

The art buffs among the students have a fun time while learning and enhancing their imagination and creative skills undertaken by the art expert in their drawing classes. The art and craft classes in the school takes this idea to a new level. A simple everyday object is turned into a masterpiece by the creative inputs discussed both by the teacher and the students.

Martial Art

Self-defense is the need of the hour for safety and security of the students. The school provides karate classes by a trained professional to arm the students with various safety techniques.

Dance

Dancing is one of the best forms of expression. The school has professional dancers to teach both contemporary and folk dance to the students. We have a Modern recreation hall for various cultural programs.

Music Room

The well-equipped music room provides a variety of instruments including guitars, keyboards, octopads,tanpura,flute, drum sets etc for students inclined to music.

Instrumental Music

Our school is blessed with a number of budding musicians. In order to sharpen the talents of the music lovers with robust imagination and a musical space for rhythmic resonance, the school offers classes in Keyboard and Guitar.

Medicare

The school has a well-equipped health unit. We strive to provide our students a safe and secure environment, free from any health hazards. In the case of accidents or emergencies, the medical centre is well equipped to provide sufficient first aid. The school has a health unit, manned by 2 full-time doctors and 4 qualified nurses. Students undergo regular medical check-ups and a health record is maintained for each child. While routine first aid is administered by the unit, any emergency is referred to the nearby Hospital.

Our modern Science labs are fully equipped to meet the needs of our Secondary and Senior Secondary students.

Sports and Games

Outdoor KG and Primary Play Area

Two separate shaded play areas equipped with a variety of age appropriate and child friendly outdoor equipment has been specially designed for use by the younger children.

Playing Field

Encouraging physical activity, the school has a large playing field to accommodate various games and sporting activities. The basketball courts provide our students with excellent opportunities to develop their sporting talents.

Personal Counseling

We provide a forum where the students are assisted to cope with the pressures and issues of growing up and a variety of other social, psychological, educational and developmental issues. We aim to identify all children who need special attention to support their physical, sensory, social, emotional, communicative or cognitive developments. External referrals for assessments would be suggested whenever required, which would facilitate intervention programmes. We provide career counseling to help students to discover and choose the career of their interest by interactive activities designed and developed by the GEMS Counselors.

Communicative English

Polishing one’s communication skills in the early years is always the best for any student. The communicative English taught at the school impart ‘out of the box’ ideas to hone the communication skills in the students.
